Abstract

This study focuses on the objectification of self among undergraduate students at the University of Karbala during the first four years of their studies. The sample includes both male and female students from both scientific and humanities fields for the academic year 2023-2024. The total sample consists of 544 students, selected using a random stratified sampling method from the colleges of Karbala. To achieve the research objectives mentioned earlier, the researcher used tools to measure self-objectification, adopting the Al-Aithawi (2020) scale for positive delusions. After verifying the validity and reliability of the scale, it was applied to the research sample. Using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), the researcher arrived at several findings.
