The current research addresses a concept that represents the fundamental element of university lecturers success: generosity. This concept refers to an individual's willingness to prioritize the needs of others over their own needs, freely and abundantly. To understand and interpret this concept and the results obtained, the researcher relied on the Smith & Hill (2019) model. He relied on a descriptive correlational approach to study the variable and reveal the extent to which the research sample possesses this trait and the extent to which it is affected by the factors of gender and specialization. Therefore, the researcher relied on the Smith & Hill (2019) generosity scale and translated it into Arabic using the scientific translation method. The researcher concluded that the generosity trait is present among university faculty members, and that there are no statistically significant differences based on the variables of gender (male/female) and specialization (scientific/humanities). The researcher then developed a set of conclusions, recommendations, and proposals.
