The relationship between social capital and organizational citizenship behavior applied study in the Faculty of Management and Economics - University of Karbala

This research aims to test the nature of the relationship between the dimensions of social capital (dimension of structural and Alalaqati and cognitive) and the dimensions of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (altruism, courtesy, sportsmanship, and good conscience and civilized behavior) in a sample of staffing working in the Faculty of Management and Economics University of Karbala included sample 62 individuals. Questionnaire has been used as a tool head for data collection. In order to reach the objectives of the research has formulated a set of assumptions that include a test of correlation between the dimensions of social capital and the dimensions of Organizational Citizenship Behavior Through the use of a number of statistical tools appropriate such as the arithmetic mean, standard deviation and coefficient of simple correlation (Pearson) were tested these hypotheses. In light of the results that have been accessed formulated a set of useful recommendations for the organization surveyed.
